Resident ZERO is an early-stage technology platform being developed to support independent living at home. Privacy, resident choice, and clear permission boundaries are core design principles.

Connected services

Resident ZERO may connect to third-party services only after the resident authorizes that connection. The information available to Resident ZERO depends on the permissions granted and the policies of the connected provider.

How information is used

Information accessed through connected services is intended to provide resident-requested features, product testing, reliability improvements, and related household assistance.

Resident control

Residents should be able to revoke connected-service access through the relevant provider and, where supported, through Resident ZERO.

Data minimization

Resident ZERO is being designed to access and retain only information reasonably necessary for the requested function and legitimate product operation.
